COMMUNITY INFORMATION FOR BAINBRIDGE ISLAND

Dear Friends,
Bainbridge Island Community Network will be 13 years old in March, 2005 and it is evolving.

CURRENT FEATURES

THE WELL PREPARED ISLAND
In 1998 a group of approximately 50 individuals here on Bainbridge Island came together to address the issue of community preparedness for various emergencies (It was Y2K then). It was universally recognized that much work could be done in this area. Although Y2K is history their efforts are still valid in this day and age. This web site represents their contribution.

THE 2005 BOUNDARY CUP

This is where the 6 Meter racers of North America unite at the US/Canadian Boarder
This years photo essay of the race is from the insiders view on a boat called Hanko. It is presented in a minute and a half video (click on the link the matches your speed and patients. (It requires a viewer for WMV files, Realnetworks, Microsoft or others).
